ABOUT
Spine pursues an elastic model: collaborating with artists and presenting exhibitions in off-site spaces and partnering venues across New York, with the city itself as counterpart.
We keep the conditions adaptable—starting with no fixed physical address. Each exhibition responds to its particular site, however standard or distinct.
Our project is educated by years working in galleries, nonprofit alternative spaces, and arts publishing in the city. With a pragmatic and insistently optimistic perspective, we adopt a roving M.O. in response to the present. This approach is bound to change in the future.
